His projects have included the first ever HD webcast, along with robotic camera technology to document an artist's life on the road, plus working with other HerioVisual crew in designing and managing the logistics of a massive video response to the Deepwater Horizon incident.
A current member of The Recording Academy, Sid nominates recipients and votes annually for the Grammy Awards.
As a member of a competitive cooking team it’s not uncommon to see
Sid planning meals, working the smoker, prepping, or coming
up with new recipes.
Sid has been with Bill Young Productions for over 25 years and is also
a firm principal.
Being born and raised in Houston, it’s only fitting Andrew ‘Andy’ Mears
cut his corporate communications teeth in oil and gas, producing and directing programs for companies in south east Texas such as Arco Chemical, Goodyear, Shell and Crown Central Petroleum.
As it goes when you own a boutique production company, Andy scripted, filmed and edited many programs as well.
Jumping into the glamour of broadcast television, Andrew developed
and produced 47 episodes of a cable television home show, and
served as the Executive Producer of a one-hour reality TV show called American Bounty Hunter.
In 1998, he joined Bill Young Productions, developing new business in corporate communications for companies such as Xerox, T-Mobile,
Waste Management and BP.
Andy’s energetic, creative, passionate and collaborative approach
to producing corporate communication projects has generated a
large, loyal client base.
As a problem solver, he’s always ready for new projects.
Mears has a ‘customer comes first’ attitude and takes enormous pride
in delivering exceptional projects.
In his spare time, Andy is a bit of an anomaly.
He loves listening to classical music and seen over 50 opera performances, but he also plays drums (loudly!) in a rock and roll band.
