A more detailed look at the work of the HerioVisual team
Trust me, I'm a director
Our next HerioVisual featured artist is editor and
director, Mark Davis.
If you've seen Sherlock, Black Mirror, Peaky Blinders or Unforgotten, then you've also seen Mark's work.
As post-production on his second feature film, The Dark Channel, nears completion, Mark took some time out to talk about his work and how many of the techniques he uses in drama production roll through into his corporate and commercial film making.
With 17 years of experience in the media, TV and film industry, James has planned, cut and delivered hundreds of films for a huge range of production company clients and brands.
He's worked on everything from award-winning dramas and heart-warming documentaries to slick show reels and luxurious promotions for arts and culture brands.
James has worked with some truly superb teams editing films which have picked up 13 high profile awards at EVCOM , the New York Film and TV Festival and the Cannes Film Festival.
Have a look at this poignant film which James not only edited, but produced and directed. It's the story of comedian Dave Chawner's fight with anorexia. Produced for the mental health charity, Mind.
You can read more about Dave Chawner's course,
